An eSqwad workshop uses characters with varied expertise, all controlled by artificial intelligence, to boost the knowledge and creativity of participants, on a concrete issue, and in record time (a workshop lasts 3 hours 30 minutes).
——————————-
By trying to find a solution to the mission they have to complete and by delving deeper into the problem with their AI-driven experts, participants integrate concrete and factual data while having fun.
And it's proven! A study showed that a discussion of just three questions and answers, between a conspiracy theorist and a chatbot programmed to provide counter-arguments, reduced the speaker's adherence to the conspiracy theory in 20% of cases.
With lasting results, since two months after the discussion, belief had not returned.

On the one hand, eSqwad aims to defend issues of common good, including the environment. Pragmatically, we use artificial intelligence, a particularly powerful tool.
On the other hand, artificial intelligence is indeed a very polluting tool, since it is estimated, for example, that 100 requests would be equivalent to one kilometer by car (this is however 100 times less CO2 than consuming 100 g of beef).
Our strategy is based on the ERC: Avoid, Reduce, Compensate.
Therefore, we are using the workshop to raise awareness about this data and the cost of unrestrained, daily use. We have chosen to organize this workshop in a small group, prioritizing collective human intelligence, in order to minimize its impact. Ultimately, this usage is intended to be offset by the benefits of the workshop in terms of the positive solutions developed.
